Celebrating Employee Ownership!

Celebrating Employee Ownership

Tonic has started 2020 by celebrating its transition to become a company that is majority owned by its employees.  This has been achieved through the establishment of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). Over the past five years, the company has achieved many important milestones, but this most recent step underlines the maturity of the business which enters its six year in 2020.

Some of the most admired companies in the UK are employee owned. Research shows that an employee ownership model improves business results through factors such as improved employee engagement and retention.

Andy Heather, CEO, said “Through an EOT, all employees can now have a greater stake and engagement in the future of our company.  Not only does this stand to benefit employees, but this really positive step will also benefit our clients and supply chain partners – and, of course, the company itself.”

Tonic’s existing directors and leadership team are remaining in place, but now have the advantage of being supported by an even more engaged team. This will be a key upside as the business continues to develop its highly successful red.thread® data analytics technology and grow its presence within existing sectors while also addressing the needs of new verticals.
